
Claims Manager, International Casualty Home Claims

- Manage and oversee the home claims process for international clients, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of complex claims.
- Lead a team of claims professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the home claims process.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and underwriters, to ensure seamless communication and resolution of claims.
- Analyze and interpret insurance policies and coverage to determine appropriate course of action for each claim.
- Review and approve settlements and payments within designated authority.
- Monitor and track claim trends and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in international insurance practices, and ensure compliance within the claims team.
- Handle escalated or complex claims, providing guidance and support to claims adjusters.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and related activities.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for claims team members.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and increase efficiency.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Handle any other duties or projects as assigned by senior management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Insurance, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Claims Management Role, Preferably In The International Casualty Insurance Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Coverage, Particularly In The Area Of Home Claims.
Proven Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Develop Claims Adjusters.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Brokers, And Other Stakeholders To Resolve Complex Claims.
