
Claim Manager, Airline & Severe Loss

- Manage complex and high-value claims for airline clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the claims process.
- Utilize strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of claims professionals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective resolution of claims.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of claims processes.
- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate and assess claims and make appropriate decisions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Work independently and efficiently to manage a large volume of claims and meet deadlines.
- Mentor and train junior claims professionals to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of claims and related activities.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments within AIG to identify and implement process improvements.
- Represent AIG in a professional and positive manner at industry events and conferences.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Claims Management, Preferably In The Airline And Severe Loss Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Regulations Related To Airline And Severe Loss Claims.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Clients, Internal Teams, And External Stakeholders.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Handling And Resolving Complex And High-Value Claims.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Finance, Or Risk Management. Additional Certifications Or Training In Claims Management Is A Plus.
