
Claim Manager, Airline & Severe Loss

- Oversee a team of claims adjusters and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the timely and accurate handling of all claims related to airline and severe loss events.
- Review and analyze complex claims to determine coverage and settlement options.
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage and mitigate claims.
- Monitor claim trends and identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor claims adjusters on best practices and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with clients and other parties.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated claims and complex issues.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure effective and efficient claims handling.
- Adhere to company values, policies, and procedures at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Risk Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Claims Management, Preferably In The Airline Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Insurance Policies, Regulations, And Industry Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Handle High-Value And Complex Claims.
