As our company continues to expand and thrive in the Canadian market, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual HR Business Partner to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will serve as a strategic business partner to our Canadian leadership team, providing expert guidance and support in all areas of human resources. We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual who is fluent in both English and French and possesses a strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and regulations.   1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Canadian market, including employment laws and regulations, to effectively support the Canadian leadership team.
  2. Serve as a strategic business partner to the Canadian leadership team, providing expert guidance and support in all areas of human resources.
  3. Partner with the Canadian leadership team to identify and address HR needs and challenges, and develop strategies to support business objectives.
  4. Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Conduct employee relations investigations and provide guidance and recommendations for resolution.
  6. Collaborate with the global HR team to ensure consistency and alignment of HR initiatives and processes.
  7. Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives to support employee engagement, retention, and development.
  8. Ensure compliance with all Canadian employment laws and regulations, and proactively identify and address any potential risks.
  9. Manage and oversee all HR-related administrative tasks, such as payroll, benefits, and performance management.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on HR-related matters, and provide training and support to managers and employees as needed.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in HR, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  13. Act as a liaison between employees and management to proactively address any employee relations issues or concerns.
  14. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the HR department and other departments within the organization.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and data, and generate reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes.

Job Qualifications
  • Fluency In English And French: As A Bilingual Hr Business Partner, The Candidate Must Possess Strong Communication Skills In Both English And French, As They Will Be Required To Interact With Employees And Stakeholders In Both Languages.

  • Knowledge Of Canadian Employment Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Labor Laws And Regulations In Canada, As They Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Compliance Within The Organization.

  • Previous Experience In Hr And Business Partnering: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Hr, Preferably In A Business Partnering Role. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Hr Functions And How They Align With Business Objectives.

  • Cultural Sensitivity And Diversity Awareness: As Aig Operates Globally, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Awareness Of Cultural Differences And The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Teams.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Making Sound Decisions And Solving Complex Problems. They Should Be Able To Handle Difficult Situations And Provide Effective Solutions In A Timely Manner.
