American International Group (AIG) is seeking an Associate Actuary to join our team as a Rater Delivery expert. In this role, you will play a crucial part in determining accurate and competitive insurance rates for our customers. With a combination of technical skills and business acumen, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely rate quotes, maintaining rate tables, and analyzing data for pricing strategies.   1. Analyze data and statistics to determine accurate and competitive insurance rates for customers.
  2. Utilize technical skills and knowledge of the insurance industry to develop and maintain rate tables.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  5. Conduct research and gather data to support rate development and decision-making.
  6. Communicate rate quotes and pricing strategies to internal stakeholders and external clients.
  7. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of rate quotes and other deliverables.
  8. Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  9. Utilize business acumen to make sound and data-driven recommendations for rate changes.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to rate development and delivery.
  11. Participate in meetings and presentations to share insights and updates on rate delivery and pricing strategies.
  12. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues related to rate delivery and pricing.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on rate delivery and provide guidance and support to team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Completion Of At Least 3 Actuarial Exams, With A Strong Understanding Of Actuarial Principles And Concepts.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, Preferably In The Property And Casualty Sector.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Modeling Software, Such As Sas, R, Or Python.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
