- Support the regional underwriting operations by analyzing risks, evaluating policies, and making sound underwriting decisions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies to achieve profitable growth in the region.
- Monitor and review underwriting performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to provide guidance and support on complex underwriting cases.
- Conduct regular training and development programs for underwriters to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination in the underwriting process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting strategies and decisions.
- Lead and manage a team of underwriters, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
- Represent the company in client meetings and industry events to promote AIG's underwriting capabilities.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline underwriting operations.
- Handle complex underwriting cases and provide guidance to underwriters on risk assessment and pricing.
- Support the development and implementation of new underwriting products and initiatives.
- Contribute to the overall success of the company by achieving and maintaining profitable underwriting results.
Strong Knowledge Of Underwriting Principles, Practices, And Procedures.

Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Underwriting Or Insurance Industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Economics, Or A Related Field.
