  1. Support the regional underwriting operations by analyzing risks, evaluating policies, and making sound underwriting decisions.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies to achieve profitable growth in the region.
  3. Monitor and review underwriting performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Work closely with underwriting teams to provide guidance and support on complex underwriting cases.
  5. Conduct regular training and development programs for underwriters to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as claims and finance, to ensure effective communication and coordination in the underwriting process.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform underwriting strategies and decisions.
  8. Lead and manage a team of underwriters, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
  9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve business objectives.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
  11. Represent the company in client meetings and industry events to promote AIG's underwriting capabilities.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline underwriting operations.
  13. Handle complex underwriting cases and provide guidance to underwriters on risk assessment and pricing.
  14. Support the development and implementation of new underwriting products and initiatives.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the company by achieving and maintaining profitable underwriting results.
