- Provide legal advice and representation to AIG and its clients in complex and high-profile casualty cases.
- Utilize expertise in coverage litigation to analyze and evaluate insurance coverage disputes.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on insurance coverage laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to negotiate favorable outcomes.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies to achieve successful resolutions.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Review and analyze insurance policies to identify potential coverage issues.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims adjusters, to assess potential risks and develop solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and participate in continuing education to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Act as a representative of AIG in court and other legal proceedings.
- Provide guidance and support to junior legal team members.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the legal department.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Active License To Practice Law In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Coverage Litigation, Specifically In The Casualty Insurance Field.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Coverage Principles.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Complex Litigation Matters.
