  1. Oversee and manage the financial reporting process for the General Insurance business in the United States.
  2. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, and provide insights and recommendations for improved financial performance.
  4. Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Monitor and review financial transactions to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  6. Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
  7. Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  8. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial reporting and controllership.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and increase efficiency.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  11. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for the General Insurance business.
  12. Conduct regular audits to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
  13. Support the Assistant Vice President of General Insurance US Controllership in various financial projects and initiatives.
  14. Adhere to company values and code of conduct, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  15. Act as a representative of AIG and uphold the company's reputation and brand.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven Leadership And Management Experience, With The Ability To Oversee A Team And Drive Results.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Financial Information To Senior Management.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On General Insurance And/Or Financial Reporting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field. Cpa Certification Preferred.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Us Gaap And Statutory Accounting Principles, As Well As Understanding Of Insurance Regulatory Requirements.
