A&H Claims Examiner – Personal Lines

1. Process and manage a high volume of personal lines claims in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of claim information to determine coverage and liability.
3. Review and analyze policy language to ensure proper coverage is being applied.
4. Communicate with policyholders, agents, and other parties involved in the claims process to provide updates and address any questions or concerns.
5. Document all claim activity, including correspondence, decisions, and payments, in our claims management system.
6. Collaborate with other team members, including adjusters, attorneys, and outside vendors, to resolve complex or disputed claims.
7. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and company procedures to ensure compliance and best practices are being followed.
9. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within the claims department.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including privacy and confidentiality guidelines, in all claim activities.
11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its mission to customers and stakeholders.
12. Assist with training and mentoring new team members to ensure a cohesive and knowledgeable claims team.
13. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and risk management, to identify potential risk exposures and provide insights for future policy improvements.
