  1. Welcome and orient early career individuals to the insurance industry and AIG's internship program.
  2. Provide a comprehensive overview of underwriting and its role within the insurance industry.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive work environment for interns to learn and grow.
  4. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and provide guidance to help interns develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Assign and oversee projects and tasks that align with interns' interests and abilities.
  6. Monitor interns' progress and provide regular feedback and evaluations.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure interns are given a well-rounded understanding of the underwriting process.
  8. Encourage interns to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.
  9. Promote AIG's values and company culture to interns.
  10. Provide resources and support to help interns succeed in their roles.
  11. Foster a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration among interns and other team members.
  12. Represent AIG in a professional and positive manner, both internally and externally.
  13. Continuously assess and improve the internship program to provide the best possible experience for interns.
  14. Serve as a mentor and role model for interns, promoting AIG's commitment to developing the next generation of industry professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Currently Enrolled In A Bachelor's Degree Program In A Relevant Field, Such As Finance, Economics, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Academic Record With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0.

  • Demonstrated Interest In Insurance And Underwriting Through Coursework, Extracurricular Activities, Or Previous Internships.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Make Sound Underwriting Decisions.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Interact With Internal And External Stakeholders.
