
Senior Engineer - East Transmission Planning

- Collaborate with team members to develop long-term plans for the transmission system in the Eastern region of the United States
- Conduct thorough analysis of data and develop solutions to improve the reliability and affordability of energy for our customers
- Utilize engineering principles and tools to evaluate and optimize the performance of the transmission system
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and inform strategic planning decisions
- Lead and participate in project teams to implement new transmission system developments and upgrades
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on transmission planning projects
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects
- Monitor and report on the progress of transmission planning projects, identifying and addressing any issues that arise
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in transmission planning processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Transmission Planning And Design
Professional Engineer (Pe) License
Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Including Nerc And Ferc
Experience Leading And Managing Complex Transmission Projects And Teams
