  • Collaborate with team members to develop long-term plans for the transmission system in the Eastern region of the United States
  • Conduct thorough analysis of data and develop solutions to improve the reliability and affordability of energy for our customers
  • Utilize engineering principles and tools to evaluate and optimize the performance of the transmission system
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and inform strategic planning decisions
  • Lead and participate in project teams to implement new transmission system developments and upgrades
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on transmission planning projects
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects
  • Monitor and report on the progress of transmission planning projects, identifying and addressing any issues that arise
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in transmission planning processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Transmission Planning And Design

  • Professional Engineer (Pe) License

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Including Nerc And Ferc

  • Experience Leading And Managing Complex Transmission Projects And Teams
