
Product Development Coordinator
Collaborate with Design on new fabric, trim, and wash development. Attend initial design development meetings to understand desired product attributes for the season. Collaborate with design, production and raw material teams to ensure fabrics and trims meet price point and quality needs. Adhere to sourcing strategy by partnering with production team before placing sample request in overseas factories. Initiate sample requests with garment vendors via PLM system. Communicate pertinent style details to vendors to ensure accurate sample execution. Coordinate pre-season ‘line review’ with Design and Production to review seasonal PDM packages. Send PDMs to selected vendors and manage all related communications. Responsible for submission of all written recaps of all PDM changes to vendors and all internal business partners throughout the season. Coordinate and follow up with testing on newly developed fabrics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
3+ years related experience; intimates experience a plus
