Job Description

​Responsible for supporting the American Airlines outsource Heavy Maintenance Providers (HMPs) and requires extensive travel between all HMP locations. Monitors compliance with the approved AA Maintenance Program and applicable CFRs. Monitors work in progress for workmanship also for compliance with regulatory requirements and American Airlines policies, standards and procedures. Notifies and assists vendors in initiating the appropriate corrective actions as needed.Supervises the proper administration of the American Airlines Quality Control programs including RII, NDT, major repair reporting, receiving, training, and rejection/buy back. Audits completed tasks to ensure physical work accomplished matches the provided instructions Documents and reports any deficiencies to American Airline Sr. Manager Quality Control. Works directly with other onsite support teams; build strong dependable relationships with other supporting departments both internally and at all of the facilities.

Job Qualifications
  • 5 years experience in the operation and repair of Part 121 air carrier maintenance programs

  • ​FAA Airframe and Power plant licenses

  • Knowledgeable of NDT/Bore score procedures

  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time
