- Oversee daily operations and activities of the Aircraft Line Maintenance Hub.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Monitor and maintain safety standards and procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for maintenance staff.
- Maintain and update maintenance records and reports.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement solutions.
- Manage inventory and procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient maintenance of aircrafts.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA and other regulatory agency standards and requirements.
- Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Represent American Airlines in a professional and courteous manner to passengers and other stakeholders.
Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Strong Background In Aircraft Maintenance, Including Thorough Understanding Of Maintenance Procedures, Regulations, And Safety Protocols.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Supervisor, Aircraft Line Maintenance Hub, The Candidate Must Have Demonstrated Experience In Managing A Team Of Aircraft Mechanics And Technicians. They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Feedback, And Handle Conflicts Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Their Team, As Well As With Other Departments And Stakeholders.
