
Supervisor, Aircraft Line Maintenance Hub

- Oversee and manage the maintenance and repair of American Airlines' aircraft fleet at the designated hub location.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair procedures are carried out in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of all required tasks.
- Monitor and assess the performance of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and team members to coordinate maintenance activities and address any issues or concerns.
- Keep updated on industry developments and incorporate new procedures and technologies to improve efficiency and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to develop and implement strategies for improving maintenance processes and reducing costs.
- Serve as a role model for the team, promoting a positive and professional work environment and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns related to aircraft maintenance in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Ensure that all necessary resources and equipment are available and in good working condition to facilitate maintenance operations.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of maintenance staff.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the management team.
Extensive Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: A Supervisor Of Aircraft Line Maintenance Hub At American Airlines Must Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance, With A Focus On Line Maintenance. This Experience Should Include Hands-On Work As Well As Leadership Roles.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Supervisor, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Technicians And Ensuring That Their Work Is Completed Efficiently And Safely. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are A Must, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Instructions, And Motivate Team Members.
Knowledge Of Faa Regulations: The Supervisor Of Aircraft Line Maintenance Hub Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Faa Regulations Related To Aircraft Maintenance. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Procedures, Maintenance Schedules, And Documentation Requirements.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential For A Supervisor To Be Successful In Their Role. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Clearly With Team Members, As Well As With Other Departments And Management. Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are A Must.
