  1. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to fleet planning and management.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans for the airline's fleet, taking into consideration factors such as market demand, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  3. Utilize analytical models and tools to evaluate the impact of potential fleet adjustments and make recommendations for optimal fleet size and composition.
  4. Monitor industry trends and developments in the airline industry to stay ahead of competitors and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for fleet planning and management.
  6. Work closely with finance teams to develop and maintain budgets and forecasts related to fleet operations.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with aircraft manufacturers, lessors, and other external partners to negotiate favorable contracts and ensure timely delivery of aircraft.
  8. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure the safety and reliability of the fleet.
  9. Mentor and assist junior analysts in developing their skills and knowledge in fleet planning and data analysis.
  10. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of fleet planning and management.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Fleet Planning And Aviation Industry: A Senior Analyst, Fleet Planning Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Airline Industry And Its Various Components, Including Aircraft Types, Route Planning, And Market Trends. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Fleet Planning, Including Aircraft Acquisition, Retirement, And Optimization.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Analytical Mindset And The Ability To Think Critically To Solve Complex Problems. A Senior Analyst, Fleet Planning Should Be Able To Gather And Analyze Data, Identify Trends And Patterns, And Make Sound Recommendations For Fleet Planning Decisions.

  • Experience In Data Analysis And Forecasting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Large Datasets And Using Statistical Analysis And Forecasting Techniques To Inform Fleet Planning Decisions. This Includes Proficiency In Software Programs Such As Excel, Sql, And Tableau.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Senior Analyst, Fleet Planning, One May Be Responsible For Leading Or Participating In Various Projects Related To Fleet Planning. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Oversee Projects From Start To Finish, Are Essential For This Role.
