  1. Develop and implement user experience strategies for American Airlines' digital platforms.
  2. Lead a team of UX designers and researchers to ensure consistent and high-quality user experiences across all digital touchpoints.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to define and prioritize UX initiatives.
  4. Conduct user research and gather insights to inform UX decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design and technology to inform the evolution of American Airlines' digital platforms.
  6. Set and maintain UX standards and guidelines to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience.
  7. Oversee the design, development, and testing of new features and enhancements to improve the overall user experience.
  8. Work closely with the customer service team to gather feedback and address user pain points.
  9. Manage user testing and usability studies to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Monitor and analyze user metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and drive business goals.
  11. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the UX team.
  12. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members to foster growth and development.
  13. Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of UX projects.
  14. Ensure compliance with industry standards, accessibility guidelines, and legal requirements in all UX design and development.
  15. Represent American Airlines as a thought leader in UX design and contribute to industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Ux Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Ux Design, With A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Successful Projects And A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: The Manager, Ux Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Best Practices In The Ux Industry, Particularly In The Airline Industry, And Be Able To Incorporate Them Into The Design Process.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: The Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Oversee A Team Of Ux Designers, Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Effectively Communicate Design Decisions To Stakeholders.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision, As Well As Proficiency In Html, Css, And Javascript. Experience With Agile Methodologies And Prototyping Tools Is Also Preferred.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: As A Representative Of American Airlines' Brand, The Manager, Ux Should Have A Customer-Centric Mindset, Able To Empathize With Users And Create Intuitive And Seamless Experiences That Meet Their Needs And Expectations.
