
Manager, International Dispatch
Coordinates the new international service checklist and ensures new service compliance with applicable Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP), FARs and local laws. Ensures adequate alternates and handling for diversions. Responsible for coordinating, communicating, and administering policy with respect to Polar flying. Ensures continued compliance with polar operations by annually performing a polar audit in cooperation with the FAA. Coordinates with other departments, such as Flight, Technical Ops, Operations Engineering and Network Planning, regarding current and planned international operations Attends appropriate industry and International meetings (e.g., Civil Aviation Administration of China or CAAC) related to international operations and procedures. Coordinate with IOC Check Dispatchers to ensure uniform and thorough FAA mandated competency checks within the international divisions Tasked with post-operational review of any non-normal international flights (IROPS).
7 years of related experience
Ability to successfully network with senior staff members concerning business objectives, challenges, and recommendations
Proven track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives
Must possess a FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate with AA Dispatch experience preferred.
