
Manager, Central Load Planning

- Oversee the efficient and effective planning of aircraft weight and balance for the entire American Airlines fleet.
- Ensure that all aircraft are loaded within their weight and balance limitations to maintain flight safety.
- Develop and implement load planning procedures and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage a team of load planners and provide leadership, guidance, and support.
- Conduct regular trainings for load planners to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments such as flight operations, maintenance, and dispatch to coordinate load planning activities.
- Monitor and analyze load planning data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and standards related to load planning and ensure compliance.
- Investigate and resolve any load planning issues or discrepancies.
- Communicate with pilots and ground crew to provide load plans and address any concerns or changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external load planning vendors.
- Prepare and present load planning reports to management.
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Respond to load planning emergencies and provide support during irregular operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the load planning team.

Extensive Knowledge Of Airline Operations: A Manager, Central Load Planning At American Airlines Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Airline Operations, Including Flight Scheduling, Aircraft Performance, And Weight And Balance Procedures.
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Make Decisions Quickly And Accurately. A Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Data Analysis And Be Comfortable Working With Large Datasets.
Leadership Experience: As A Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Manage A Team. Previous Experience In A Leadership Position Is Highly Desirable.
