- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues or delays in delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all necessary materials and information are provided to suppliers.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and cost.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for improving supplier performance.
- Monitor and report on market trends and changes in supplier capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Proactively address any potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
- Participate in supplier meetings and provide updates on performance and any issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Train and mentor new team members on supplier management processes and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all suppliers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the supplier management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience In Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Concepts And Processes, Including Inventory Management, Procurement, And Supplier Relationship Management.
Knowledge Of Aviation Industry: A Thorough Understanding Of The Aviation Industry, Including Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices, Is Essential For Success In This Role.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Cross-Functional Teams Is Crucial In This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships With Suppliers And Negotiate Favorable Terms.
Attention To Detail And Analytical Skills: As An Expeditor, Supplier Management, The Candidate Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Risks And Opportunities In The Supply Chain.
Project Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Tracking Progress And Timelines, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of Goods And Services From Suppliers. Pmp Certification Is A Plus.
