- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support the operation of the airline.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure they are progressing according to schedule and take proactive measures to address any delays or issues that may arise.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders, such as maintenance and operations teams, to ensure they are aware of any potential delays or issues with supplier deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all supplier orders, deliveries, and related communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any supply chain or logistical issues that may impact the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve the supply chain process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure open lines of communication and a high level of service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure they are meeting their contractual obligations and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the Supplier Management team and other departments within the airline to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Management Or Procurement, Preferably In The Airline Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Principles And Processes, Including Inventory Management, Supplier Selection And Evaluation, And Contract Negotiation.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers And Internal Stakeholders.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Experience Using Supply Chain Management Software And Tools.
