- Monitor and coordinate all aspects of American Airlines flights from a centralized control center.
- Communicate effectively with flight crews, ground staff, and other departments to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
- Analyze and respond to real-time flight data and make timely decisions to ensure on-time performance and minimize delays.
- Collaborate with airport operations and maintenance teams to resolve any issues that may impact flight operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight activity, including flight plans, weather reports, and aircraft position.
- Utilize various computer systems and software to track and monitor flights and communicate with team members.
- Stay current on industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
- Proactively identify potential issues and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to flight schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns from passengers and crew members.
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities.
- Act as a point of contact for all stakeholders, including air traffic control, airport authorities, and other airlines.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train and mentor new team members to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
- Comply with all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe operating environment.
- Represent American Airlines with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Control Center Or Operations Role Within The Aviation Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Regulations And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Under Pressure.
Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software Used In Control Center Operations.
