Job Qualifications
  • Faa Certification: A Valid Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certificate Is Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Maintenance Training And Experience Requirements Set By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).

  • Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: American Airlines Expects Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance, Preferably With A Major Airline Or An Faa Part 145 Repair Station. This Experience Should Include Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance Of Various Aircraft Systems.

  • Knowledge Of Faa Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Faa Regulations And Guidelines Pertaining To Aircraft Maintenance. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Protocols, Maintenance Procedures, And Record-Keeping Requirements.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals: As An Aviation Maintenance Technician, The Candidate Will Be Required To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Diagrams, Blueprints, And Schematic Drawings. This Requires Strong Technical Aptitude And Attention To Detail.

  • Team Player With Strong Communication Skills: American Airlines Values Teamwork And Effective Communication In Its Maintenance Department. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well With Others, Communicate Clearly And Effectively, And Contribute To A Positive Work Environment.
