Faa Certification: A Valid Faa Airframe And Powerplant (A&P) Certificate Is Required For This Position. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All Maintenance Training And Experience Requirements Set By The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).
Experience In Aircraft Maintenance: American Airlines Expects Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Maintenance, Preferably With A Major Airline Or An Faa Part 145 Repair Station. This Experience Should Include Troubleshooting, Repair, And Maintenance Of Various Aircraft Systems.
