As the leading provider of hospice services, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Vice President of Clinical Services, Hospice.   1. Oversee all clinical operations of Amedisys' hospice programs nationwide.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve and maintain high-quality care for patients and their families.
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to drive organizational goals and objectives.
  5. Provide leadership and direction to hospice clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  6. Monitor and analyze hospice program data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  7. Foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and patient-centered care among all hospice staff.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve hospice services.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on hospice care and end-of-life experiences, both internally and externally.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to promote Amedisys' hospice programs and services.
  12. Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective and efficient hospice operations.
  13. Travel to various locations to conduct audits, evaluations, and training sessions as needed.
  14. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates, reports, and recommendations.
  15. Uphold Amedisys' mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Hospice Care, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Hospice Regulations And Compliance, As Well As Experience With Accreditation Processes.

  • Proven Track Record Of Driving Quality Improvements And Implementing Successful Clinical Programs In Hospice Settings.

  • Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments To Achieve Organizational Goals.
