This individual will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state laws and regulations while providing strategic legal advice to support the company's goals.   1. Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations related to healthcare, home health, and hospice services.
  2. Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to support the company's goals and objectives.
  3. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  5. Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  7. Collaborate with internal departments to identify and address potential legal issues.
  8. Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  9. Manage relationships with outside legal counsel.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in laws and regulations.
  11. Train and educate employees on legal matters, compliance, and risk management.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation.
  13. Participate in mergers and acquisitions, providing legal due diligence and support.
  14. Handle any other legal matters as assigned by the General Counsel or senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Experience As A Corporate Counsel Or In A Related Legal Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Proven Track Record Of Providing Sound And Strategic Legal Advice To Senior Management And Executives.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Complex Legal Matters And Transactions.
