Job Description

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis, specifically on weekends. As an RN in our Home Health department, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.   1. Providing exceptional patient care: The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients in their homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  2. Weekend coverage: The RN will be expected to work on weekends as part of their PRN schedule to provide coverage for patients who require care during those days.
  3. Conducting assessments: The RN will conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medication management, and overall physical and mental condition.
  4. Developing care plans: Based on the assessments, the RN will develop individualized care plans for each patient, taking into consideration their specific needs and goals.
  5. Administering treatments and medications: The RN will be responsible for administering prescribed treatments and medications, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
  6. Educating patients and families: The RN will educate patients and their families on their care plans, medications, and any necessary lifestyle changes to promote overall health and well-being.
  7. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team: The RN will work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  8. Documenting patient progress: The RN will accurately and timely document patient progress, including any changes in health status, treatment plans, and goals met.
  9. Ensuring compliance: The RN will adhere to all regulatory and company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Continuously improving skills and knowledge: The RN will participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to continuously improve their skills and knowledge in the home health care field.
  11. Maintaining professional standards: The RN will maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times, representing the agency's values and commitment to exceptional care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls Certification

  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Home Health Setting
