1. Provide exceptional patient care: As an RN with Amedisys, your main responsibility will be to provide exceptional care to our patients in their own homes. This includes administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and providing necessary treatments.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for our patients.
3. Conduct thorough assessments: A key responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to ensure that their care plan is tailored to their specific needs.
4. Ensure compliance with regulations: You will be responsible for ensuring that all care provided meets regulatory standards and guidelines, including following infection control protocols and maintaining accurate patient records.
5. Educate patients and families: As a registered nurse, you will also have a responsibility to educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote optimal health and wellness.
6. Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition: You will regularly monitor and assess patients' conditions, and respond quickly and appropriately to any changes or emergencies that may arise.
