- Oversee and manage all aspects of the home health services provided by Amedisys.
- Lead and motivate a team of nurses and therapists to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor and assess the clinical performance of staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Review and evaluate patient medical records to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and patients.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and implement changes to improve the quality of care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to enhance the delivery of services.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and their families to ensure a positive and respectful work environment.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Manage and allocate resources, including staffing and budget, to effectively meet patient needs.
- Handle any issues or concerns that may arise from patients, families, or staff in a prompt and professional manner.
- Represent Amedisys in a positive and professional manner at all times.
Current Rn Licensure: To Be Considered For A Clinical Manager Position At Amedisys, Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Active Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Education And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Home Health Experience: Amedisys Values Hands-On Experience In The Home Health Setting For Their Clinical Manager Role. Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In A Home Health Setting.
Leadership Experience: The Clinical Manager Role At Amedisys Requires Strong Leadership Skills To Oversee And Manage A Team Of Home Health Professionals. Candidates Must Have Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Such As A Charge Nurse Or Nurse Manager.
Knowledge Of Medicare And Medicaid Regulations: As A Home Health Agency, Amedisys Is Heavily Regulated By Medicare And Medicaid. Candidates For The Clinical Manager Position Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Regulations And Policies Governing These Programs To Ensure Compliance And Provide Quality Care To Patients.
