Current Rn Licensure: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Registered Nurse Case Manager At Amedisys Is A Valid And Active Registered Nurse License. This Ensures That The Individual Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Medical Care And Is Legally Authorized To Practice As A Nurse.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Amedisys Requires A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing For The Position Of Registered Nurse Case Manager. This Higher Level Of Education Provides A More Comprehensive Understanding Of Healthcare And Nursing Practices, Which Is Essential For Managing And Coordinating Patient Care.
Case Management Experience: Amedisys Prefers Candidates With Prior Experience In Case Management, As It Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Role And Responsibilities Involved.
