1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients with mental health needs.
2. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and develop individualized care plans.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
4. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and communicate any changes in condition to the physician and interdisciplinary team.
5. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies.
6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for patients.
7. Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.
8. Document all patient care and interventions accurately and timely.
9. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices in psychiatric nursing.
11. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
12. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and empathy towards patients and their families.
13. Serve as a role model and mentor for other healthcare team members.
14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
15. Attend and participate in team meetings and clinical conferences.
16. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients.
17. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
