As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work on a per diem basis, allowing for a work schedule that fits your needs.   1. Provide compassionate and dedicated physical therapy services to patients in accordance with their individualized treatment plans.
  2. Perform thorough evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  3. Create and implement effective physical therapy interventions and exercises to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
  4. Document and maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' progress and treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support on their treatment plans and progress.
  7. Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of practice in the field of physical therapy.
  8. Maintain a flexible schedule, working on a per diem basis as needed, to accommodate the needs of the patients and the organization.
  9. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and attend relevant training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Comply with all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  11. Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families.
  12. Possess a current state license and a minimum of one year of clinical experience to be considered for this role.
  13. Uphold the values and mission of the organization and represent Amedisys in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy And Current State Licensure.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Home Health Or Skilled Nursing Facility.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Physical Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As Current Treatment Modalities.

  • Ability To Work Independently And Manage A Caseload, While Also Being Flexible And Adaptable To Changing Patient Needs.
