Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: Amedisys Requires A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution For The Physical Therapist Position In Eastern Suffolk County.
State Licensure: Candidates Must Possess A Valid License To Practice As A Physical Therapist In The State Of New York. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Educational And Professional Requirements To Practice In The Field.
Cpr Certification: Amedisys Requires All Physical Therapists To Be Certified In Cpr. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Prepared To Handle Emergency Situations That May Arise While Working With Patients.
