1. Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
2. Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
3. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment.
4. Communicate regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their overall physical well-being.
6. Monitor and report any changes or concerns in patient condition to the supervising physical therapist.
7. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff by following infection control and safety protocols.
8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions and documentation.
9. Attend regular team meetings and participate in continuing education to stay updated on new techniques and treatments.
10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in the provision of physical therapy services.
13. Continuously strive to improve and enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
14. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
15. Foster a positive and supportive work environment by actively participating in teamwork and promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
