Payroll Specialist - On-Site

1. Accurately and efficiently process payroll for all employees on a timely basis.
2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws.
3. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including tax withholding and direct deposit information.
4. Handle and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information.
6. Communicate payroll changes and updates to employees and managers in a clear and timely manner.
7. Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
8. Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee payroll information.
9. Monitor and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
10. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
11. Assist with year-end processes and reporting, including W-2s and 1099s.
12. Train and mentor new payroll team members as needed.
13. Utilize payroll software and Microsoft Excel to accurately process payroll and generate reports.
14. Communicate and work effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth payroll process.
15. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline payroll processes and procedures.
16. Provide support and assistance with additional payroll-related tasks as needed.
