  1. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients.
  2. Assist with developing and implementing treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
  3. Provide hands-on assistance and support to patients during therapy sessions.
  4. Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  6. Ensure patient safety and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  7. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  8. Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in occupational therapy.
  9. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience while working with patients.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients.
  11. Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  12. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  13. Act as a positive representative of the company and promote a positive image in the healthcare community.
  14. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards patients, their families, and colleagues.
  15. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot).

  • Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As An Ot Assistant, Preferably In A Home Health Or Skilled Nursing Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Occupational Therapy Principles And Techniques, As Well As Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Documentation.

  • Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals, And To Work Collaboratively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
