  1. Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in providing individualized care and support to patients in their homes.
  2. Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress, including any changes or updates to their treatment plans.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible care.
  5. Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  7. Stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies in occupational therapy to provide the best possible care.
  8. Show compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, understanding the impact of their condition on their daily lives.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
  10. Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the team and provide exceptional patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Completed An Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (Ota) Program And Possess A Valid Ota License In The State Of Practice.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As An Ota In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Home Health.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Ots, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Various Treatment Techniques And Modalities Used In Occupational Therapy, Including Therapeutic Exercises, Activities Of Daily Living (Adl) Training, And Adaptive Equipment.

  • Familiarity With Documentation And Billing Practices Related To Medicare And Other Insurance Guidelines.
