  1. Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
  2. Provide hands-on assistance and support to patients during therapy sessions.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress, including any changes in their condition or treatment plan.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care.
  5. Implement therapeutic techniques and activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
  6. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies to improve their daily functioning and independence.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism while working with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  12. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by fostering open communication and teamwork.
  13. Seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance job performance and contribute to the success of the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

  • Current State Licensure As An Occupational Therapy Assistant.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As An Occupational Therapy Assistant, Preferably In A Home Health Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Knowledge Of Current Evidence-Based Practices And Techniques In Occupational Therapy.
