Valid Lvn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For An Lvn Job At Amedisys Is Having A Valid And Active Lvn License In The State Where The Job Is Located. This License Is Obtained After Completing An Accredited Nursing Program And Passing The Nclex-Pn Exam.
Experience In Healthcare: Amedisys Values Candidates With Prior Experience In The Healthcare Industry. This Can Include Work As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna), Medical Assistant, Or Other Roles In Hospitals, Clinics, Or Long-Term Care Facilities.
Knowledge Of Nursing Procedures And Protocols: Lvns At Amedisys Are Expected To Have A Strong Understanding Of Nursing Procedures And Protocols. This Includes Administering Medications, Monitoring Patient Vital Signs, And Providing Basic Medical Care Under The Supervision Of A Registered Nurse.
