- Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients and families during their end-of-life journeys.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and sincere desire to help others.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient rights.
- Proactively identify and address patient needs and concerns.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Active Cna License: Candidates Must Possess A Current And Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License In The State Where The Hospice Job Is Located. This Demonstrates The Necessary Education And Training To Provide Quality Care To Hospice Patients.
Previous Hospice Experience: Amedisys Prefers Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Hospice Setting. This Shows A Familiarity With The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Providing End-Of-Life Care.
Compassion And Empathy: Cna Hospice Jobs Require Individuals Who Are Compassionate, Empathetic, And Able To Provide Emotional Support To Patients And Their Families During A Difficult Time. Amedisys Values Candidates Who Possess These Qualities.
