- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and members of the hospice team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, creating a comfortable and peaceful environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Attend all required trainings and meetings to maintain knowledge of hospice care practices and regulations.

Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Amedisys Requires All Hospice Aides To Have A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program.
Hospice Experience: Amedisys Values Candidates With Previous Experience Working In A Hospice Setting, Providing End-Of-Life Care And Support To Patients And Their Families.
