  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in their end-of-life journey.
  2. Work as part of a hospice team to support and enhance patient care.
  3. Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
  4. Monitor and report changes in patients' physical and emotional well-being.
  5. Ensure patients' comfort and safety at all times.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  7. Follow care plans and treatment protocols to provide high-quality care.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  10. Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on hospice care practices.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Uphold the company's values and ethical standards at all times.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Show empathy and understanding towards patients and their families.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards work and colleagues.
  16. Participate in providing emotional support to patients and their families.

  • Valid Cna Certification: Amedisys Requires All Cna Hospice Aide Applicants To Hold A Valid Cna Certification In Their State. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received The Necessary Training And Has The Skills To Provide Quality Care To Hospice Patients.

  • Experience In Hospice Care: Amedisys Prefers Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working In A Hospice Setting. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Unique Needs Of Hospice Patients And Has The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care In This Specialized Environment.
