As a CNA Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families during an incredibly vulnerable time.   1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to hospice patients.
  2. Support patients and their families during a difficult and vulnerable time.
  3. Assist in meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  4. Follow the plan of care established by the hospice team.
  5. Help patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  6. Foster a comfortable and safe environment for patients.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the hospice team.
  8. Document care provided accurately and timely.
  9. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  10. Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  12. Attend team meetings and participate in patient care discussions.
  13. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  14. Recognize and report any changes in patient condition to the hospice team.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  16. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills.
  17. Maintain timely and accurate records and reports.
  18. Show empathy and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  19. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  20. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A State-Approved Cna Training Program And Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Hospice Or Palliative Care Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of End-Of-Life Care Principles And Practices.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Follow Care Plans And Document Patient Progress.
