- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase hospice referrals and admissions through building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and community partners.
- Serve as the main point of contact for healthcare providers and community partners, regularly communicating updates and promoting Amedisys hospice services.
- Collaborate with the marketing and outreach team to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and events to promote Amedisys hospice services.
- Conduct market research to identify potential referral sources and develop appropriate tactics to reach them.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Amedisys hospice services, policies, and procedures to effectively communicate with and educate potential referral sources.
- Utilize sales techniques to persuade and educate potential referral sources on the benefits of Amedisys hospice services.
- Serve as a liaison between Amedisys hospice and referral sources to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential referral sources, including contact information and communication history.
- Monitor and analyze referral trends and data to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and other industry-related events to promote Amedisys hospice services and build relationships with potential referral sources.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on referral activity, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines related to the promotion and marketing of hospice services.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for patients and families referred to Amedisys hospice services.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and objectives for hospice referrals and admissions.
- Maintain a high level of empathy and compassion when interacting with potential referral sources, patients, and families, representing the values of Amedisys hospice care.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Goals.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Sales Or Account Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Healthcare Professionals.
Strong Understanding Of Hospice Care And The Hospice Industry.
