Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the home health industry, including market trends, competitors, and key referral sources.
  2. Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and building relationships with potential clients and referral sources.
  3. Conduct in-depth needs assessments and consultations with potential clients to identify their home health needs and educate them on the benefits of our services.
  4. Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients, referral sources, and other key stakeholders.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare professionals, to generate new business opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth transition and exceptional care for new clients.
  7. Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities, including leads, prospects, and client interactions.
  8. Keep up-to-date on industry changes, regulations, and best practices to effectively position Amedisys as a leader in home health care.
  9. Represent Amedisys at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and generate new business.
  10. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client meetings and referral source visits.
  11. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  12. Continuously strive to improve sales performance and contribute to the overall success of the sales team and company.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to share best practices, provide support, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  14. Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities and report on progress to sales leadership.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the company's mission of providing compassionate and personalized care to patients in need.

Job Qualifications
