As an Account Executive for our Home Health division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, promoting our services, and driving business growth. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and sales skills, as well as a strong understanding of the home health industry. - Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
- Promote Amedisys' home health care services to potential referral sources through in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase patient referrals and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to reach target audiences.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, changes, and competitor activity to inform business development plans.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to patients.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Amedisys' services, policies, and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities and referral sources.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve sales and communication skills.
- Represent Amedisys in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on referral sources and business development activities.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper reimbursement for services provided.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information at all times.
- Attend team meetings, trainings, and conferences as required.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Goals.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Sales Or Account Management, Preferably In The Home Health Industry.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Referral Sources.
Knowledge Of Medicare/Medicaid Regulations And Reimbursement Procedures.
