Job Description

Manage the architecture of internal data infrastructure and pipelines, including cloud transformation. Transform incoming data-streams into products that empower customers in diverse applied markets. Spearhead collaborations with key opinion leaders and other experts in biotechnology. Evaluate third-party resources for integration into production-level data infrastructure and pipelines. Collaborate closely with scientific leadership in the company to more fully integrate data across functional areas. Conduct exploratory research and provide a clear vision for movement into new and emerging data-rich markets. Write and manage submission of grants to seek funding for new data-intensive scientific endeavors. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of bioinformaticians and data scientists.

Job Qualifications

Experience applying machine learning/deep learning techniques
Extensive experience in the productization of data in the context of biotechnology
Strong understanding of the confluence of science, software, and data
Proven track record of building highly effective multidisciplinary teams including software and bioinformatics departments
Experience in basic research, translational research, and clinical diagnostics
