Job Description

You will be responsible for creating patient- and healthcare provider-facing applications and experiences that enable genomic testing at scale. Working closely with our business analysts and product managers, you must identify and define audience-centric solutions, serving as an ambassador to our end user’s point of view. We expect you to have UI/UX design expertise including research, design strategy, wireframing, prototyping, style guides, and UI design In this role, you will design interfaces and define visual systems that effectively communicate product functions. As a UI/UX designer, your role will include working closely with the development team on implementation, verification, and testing of the designs. Be prepared to validate your design concepts and present your rationale to stakeholders for approval. As a team player, your personality should lend to flexibility, collaboration, consultation, and support as needed with product managers, designers, stakeholders and end users.

Job Qualifications

Proven UI/UX experience on at least one successful product launch in the healthcare, medical device, or genomics space.
5+ years of UX/UI design experience for web-based applications with emphasis on end-user/customer product design
2+ years working cross functionally with development teams on user acceptance testing
Experience in animation is not required but a bonus
Experience working on products in the healthcare or other highly complex, regulated environment
