
Principal Statistical Geneticist
The job’s main responsibility is to collaborate with biologists, bioinformaticians, and clinicians to design and perform statistical analyses and clinical research. Provide strategic input and leadership to analyze large and complex data sets derived from patient samples. Objectives may be to support genetic analyses in family, cohort, and case-control studies to evaluate genetic and environmental associations with clinical phenotypes. Provide consultation on study design and propose appropriate statistical analysis plan. Propose opportunities for projects, methodology improvements and implementation plans relevant to variant classification and clinical genomics proactively. Seek input and review from other groups on various projects proactively.
At least 5 year research and development experiments in the related fields
At least 2 year post-doctoral research and/or industrial experiences are required
At least 3 year management experience of scientists and/or programmers industrial setting
Experience in statistical consultation and leading research projects
