- Monitor and maintain the high availability and performance of critical systems within the Amadeus IT Group.
- Proactively identify potential issues and address them before they impact the system's functionality.
- Conduct thorough analysis of system performance and implement measures to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement proactive monitoring tools and processes to ensure timely detection and resolution of system issues.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and services to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Continuously review and optimize system configurations to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations on system performance and improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve the reliability and performance of our systems.
- Take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution, escalating to management as necessary.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
Extensive Experience In Service Reliability Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Service Reliability Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Software Development, Systems Administration, And It Operations.
Proficiency In Automation And Scripting: A Senior Service Reliability Engineer Should Have A Strong Background In Automation And Scripting, As Well As Experience With Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef. This Skill Is Crucial In Maintaining A Highly Available And Scalable Infrastructure.
Knowledge Of Cloud Computing And Virtualization Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing And Virtualization Technologies, Such As Aws, Azure, And Vmware. This Is Essential For Managing And Optimizing The Company's Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Service Reliability Engineer Should Have Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues.
