  1. Manage and maintain all company databases, ensuring their stability, performance, and security.
  2. Monitor database activity and troubleshoot any issues that arise, implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  3. Create and maintain database backups, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions to support business needs and requirements.
  5. Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  6. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  7. Monitor database storage and performance, making recommendations for optimization and improvement.
  8. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as database tuning, indexing, and data archiving.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  10. Train and support end-users in database usage and best practices.
  11. Work closely with software developers to optimize database queries and support application development.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve database connectivity issues.
  13. Continuously monitor and improve database security, implementing necessary patches and upgrades.
  14. Document database processes, procedures, and configurations.
  15. Collaborate with external vendors and partners for database-related issues and support.
  16. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on database-related projects and initiatives.
  17. Proactively identify and address potential database issues before they impact business operations.
  18. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
  19. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on database performance and any potential issues.
  20. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Database Administration, Preferably In A Large Enterprise Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Relational Database Management Systems (Rdbms) Such As Oracle, Sql Server, And Mysql.

  • Experience With Database Performance Tuning, Backup And Recovery Strategies, And Disaster Recovery Planning.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Database Issues.
